We are most like Christ when we pray for someone else. It is such a privilege to lift someone to the throne of Heaven, and we want YOU to have this opportunity with us as we lift the ministries of TeenFire and the people of Winchester and Clark County to God in intercessory prayer!
Each week there are people who fast on Sundays and Tuesdays for our weekly ministries. On Sunday nights we focus on Biblical teaching and discipleship/accountability. God is moving us to a deeper relationship with Him and each other during these times together. Activities start with IGNITE, our 6th-8th grades from 5:15 - 6:30. Senior High comes for food and fellowship with the younger students at 6:30 p.m., and then Fired UP! commences for grades 9-12 from 7 - 8:30 p.m.
Tuesday nights is our OUTREACH night at different locations throughout the city. Right now we are at College Park Gym and God is bringing tons of kids in to play basketball and volleyball, Wii on the HUGE screen, and to get food (both physically and spiritually)
This is the only food some of these kids get on this day, and it's amazing to see 80-100 kids destroy 16-20 pizzas in less than 5 minutes!
All of this is intentional. We enjoy building relationships with these young people and families (EVERYONE is invited, and many families come), and we DO IT to be the FACE OF CHRIST to them. We love them, counsel them, and preach the Word of Good News each week in our Word OUT moments.
Please pray specifically for these time slots. Pray specifically that families will be restored, that young hearts and minds will understand that God loves them comepletely, and that our local churches will catch the vision. These are THE LEAST OF THESE, and God is using TeenFire to minister to them.
